Ratmir recently turned 14 years old. He remains a cheerful, open-minded teenager, even now, when he has to fight a brain tumor. Ratmir does not give up, believes in the best and repeats that his main dream now is simply to become healthy again.
Ratmir's life changed in March last year. First came headaches, then agonizing nausea and strabismus. For Ratmir and his family, the diagnosis of a brain tumor was a heavy blow. Local doctors performed surgery, two courses of chemotherapy and radiation, but the tumor continued to grow.
Then the father decided to take his son to Moscow. In the capital they reviewed the histologic analyses. It turned out that the diagnosis was initially wrong. Precious time was lost. Now Ratmir is being treated according to the correct protocol at the V. V. Voyno-Yasenets Research Center. F. Voyno-Yasenetsky.
But in order to stop the disease, treatment must continue. Parents are not able to pay for the next course of chemotherapy, they have exhausted all their financial possibilities during their son's illness. His father is with Ratmir all the time, his mother stayed in her homeland with two more sons.
