Little Akniet is the fourth long-awaited child in the family.
At birth, doctors discovered a rare anomaly: the coronal suture of the skull, which normally remains flexible until adulthood, had fused in the womb. It's like "locking" the brain in a tight box that prevents it from growing.
At one and a half months, the baby underwent surgery in Kazakhstan to free the suture. But the result was bad: the facial bones shifted, and the skull began to deform even more. Now, without urgent help, this threatens not only asymmetry, but also neurological problems, developmental delays and blindness due to compression of the optic nerves.
Akniet is now 3.5 months old. She needs two surgeries in Moscow. First, the girl's skull will be returned to its correct shape and the bones will be fixed with titanium plates, and in a few months, when the brain "pulls" the bones into the right position, these plates will be removed.
Without surgical treatment, her face will remain permanently distorted, and headaches will become daily torture.
Let's take care of baby Akniet's health and help her grow up healthy and with a naturally beautiful face.
