Lemke has already had his ninth course of chemotherapy!

For nine years, Lemka has been struggling with a difficult diagnosis. During this time she has undergone 8 courses of chemotherapy, 17 courses of radiation therapy and 2 surgeries to remove the tumor. Each time, in hopes of recovery, she went through excruciating treatment. In order to monitor the progression of her disease, Lemke needed to travel every six months to the Rostov Cancer Research Institute for examinations. The last examination revealed that the cancer was not going to recede. Metastases were found in the liver, left iliac bone and ribs. Lemka is now feeling very unwell. She is suffering from insomnia, nausea, weakness, cannot eat, and walks only with the support of others. According to doctors, she needs to leave urgently for a complete examination.
