Since birth, little Maryam was diagnosed with microphthalmos and retinal detachment-a congenital pathology that prevents the girl from leading a full life. To preserve and improve their eyesight, Mary needs surgery. If it is not carried out, the girl may go blind.

The operation will take place in Russia, as Maryam is a citizen of another state, and her treatment will be paid for. The girl's parents are experiencing financial difficulties: her mother is on maternity leave, and her father works as a butcher and cannot pay for the operation on his own.

Maryam is a very intelligent child, and her family wants her to start seeing the world around her.
