Little Aisha, who is only two years and four months old, was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma, a malignant tumor of the eye. It all started when her parents noticed a glow in their daughter’s eyes. After visiting a clinic and undergoing an ultrasound, Aisha was referred to the Republican Oncology Center in Bishkek, where she was given a final diagnosis. Since then, the family has gone through many trials, including six courses of chemotherapy, but, unfortunately, they did not bring the desired result.
In search of effective treatment, the family went to Tashkent, where Aisha underwent three courses of SIAKHT. Then they went to the S. M. Fedorov Eye Microsurgery Clinic in Moscow, where they underwent additional examinations. The conclusion showed that the right eye is in group B with partial regression, and the left eye is in group D with clinical complete regression of the tumor.
At the moment, Aisha is at the N. N. Sechenov National Medical Research Center of Oncology. Blokhina, where she needs urgent treatment of her left eye. Her right eye is already blind, and there is a real threat of losing sight in the left eye as well. The family has been financing the treatment on their own throughout this time, but now they urgently need help. Every contribution can be decisive in saving Aisha's sight and her ability to see this world.
Let's support Aisha in her fight against the disease together! Your kind hearts can help her find hope and a chance for a full life.
