Umukusum has just turned 2 months old. The girl's mom says about the baby: “She is very smiling, she is just beginning to learn the world around her and is already trying to talk with sounds. Affectionately the mother calls the girl Umka, she is the long-awaited and the only child in the family.
Until a month the girl developed as a normal child, there were no symptoms of the disease. The adrenal tumor was discovered at a routine examination during ultrasound, the family was immediately referred to a consultation with an oncologist. The difficult diagnosis was confirmed and the girl was sent to the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.
Now the little girl needs additional research to prescribe the correct and effective treatment.
