Due to your help Alyosha has completed his rehabilitation course!

Alyosha Polyakov was born prematurely at 28 weeks, weighing only 1020 grams. He spent several months in the intensive care unit on ALV (artificial lung ventilation). During his first year of life the boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) and grade 4 sensorineural hearing loss. Alyosha underwent surgery on both ears and received a cochlear implant, but he still faced problems, including delays in psycho-speech development. Since his birth Alyosha’s family has been fighting for his health. Sessions with specialists and rehabilitation courses helped him achieve certain results. At 8 years he can sit independently, crawl on all fours and eat with a spoon. He also learned to stand on his own and attempts to take his first independent steps. Regular rehabilitation is crucial for Alyosha to maintain the skills he gained and continue progressing. Let’s help Alyosha take confident, independent steps and explore the world around him!
