Sofia is 3 months old, she loves to listen attentively to adults and always smiles back at them. Her mom says that her daughter has very beautiful and intelligent eyes. The baby already knows how to roll over on her side, she likes to explore the world around her.
At a routine ultrasound at one month Sophia found a small mass, at first doctors did not pay attention to it and thought that it was a hematoma. A month later, at a repeat ultrasound, the mass did not go away and the girl began to be examined. CT scan confirmed the presence of the tumor, the little girl together with her mother was sent to the Blokhin NMIC, where they are being treated now.
At the moment Sofia needs an additional genetic study, which will help doctors to adjust the treatment of the little girl for effective fight against oncology.
