Rolan is the youngest child in his family. He was born on the same day as his older sister, and for the past five years, that day has been a double celebration for everyone.
Rolan is an open-hearted, cheerful boy. He loves being around other kids, always happy to play together, share his toys in the sandbox, and ride down slides. When passing by a playground, he immediately lets it be known — he wants to join. At home, he enjoys watching cartoons, and bedtime always includes a story — a cherished family tradition.
Rolan has cerebral palsy. He can stand with support and is learning to use a walker, but he can't walk on his own yet. Right now, he uses a wheelchair. But it’s heavy and hard to maneuver, and Rolan can’t operate it by himself. He depends entirely on his parents to get around.
What Rolan needs is an active wheelchair — light, maneuverable, and suited to his size and strength. With it, he’ll be able to move on his own, join other kids, choose where to go, and feel more confident and independent.
