Maxim lives with serious diagnoses: Dandy-Walker anomaly, epilepsy and spastic tetraparesis. He is an orphan from birth and spends most of his time in the palliative care unit.

Maxim loves listening to music, listens attentively to sounds and is happy when people talk to him. He loves tactile games and often smiles in response to kind words. However, his whole world is limited to a bed with a view of the ceiling and walls. Maxim lies almost all the time, unable to sit up or change his position, which leads to body deformation and breathing difficulties and no ability to eat properly.

A medical bed will help Maxim sit, straighten his body, improve nutrition and interaction with the outside world.
