Mirabror was born without a left forearm. He is now 7 years old. The boy is in the first grade and dreams of being independent. He likes to draw, make paper crafts, play soccer and mess with his younger brother.
In kindergarten, Mirabror was teased and the boy became withdrawn. It became difficult for him to be friends, to play, to study — after all, he could do even simple actions with only one hand. His parents decided that Mirabror needed a prosthetic before school to help him socialize and make his daily life easier. In the spring of 2024, a philanthropist was found who fully paid for the prosthesis for their son.
From that moment on, a new life with two hands began. Mirabror quickly mastered the control of the prosthesis — he began to do things that were previously unavailable. The boy felt complete. His self-esteem has grown, he has become more confident, sociable and joyful.
The prosthesis helps not only in everyday life, but also in learning: to hold a notebook, carve, draw, hold a briefcase and be equal among peers.
A year has passed and the prosthesis has become too small for Mirabror. He needs to have repeated prosthetics in order not to lose the acquired skills, maintain physical health (muscle tone, posture, balance), continue an active life and successfully adapt to the school team.
Let's fulfill Mirabror's dream together - to live with two hands!
