Omar is 5 years old and has an autistic spectrum disorder. The observations began to manifest themselves at the age of about a year: he had no eye contact, no pointing gesture, he did not respond to a name. At the age of 1, he was diagnosed with delayed speech development. After the treatment was prescribed, all recommendations were followed. At the age of 2 years and 6 months, the diagnosis was clarified — ASD with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). At the age of 3 years and 6 months, he was diagnosed with a disability: a disorder of psychorechological development with an autism spectrum disorder.
Thanks to regular classes and field rehabilitation, there is a positive trend. Omar got a partial pointing gesture, improved his understanding, and learned to count. Currently, medical treatment is continuing, as well as classes on AVA, ROS and sensory integration techniques. Omar needs continued rehabilitation to further develop his speech skills and correct his behavior. Unfortunately, his family does not have the financial means to undergo this rehabilitation.
