During the three months that the collection was held on the Tooba platform, more than 500 people – men and women, old and young – who got into trouble and did not have a roof over their heads, documents, or money received help from the Charity Hospital.

Doctors conducted 3507 patient appointments. This includes 38 appointments with a traumatologist and 496 appointments with a therapist. Thanks to you, friends, we were able to purchase Turbocast, a modern lightweight material from which our specialists manufacture orthoses, splints, and splints for patients with injuries.

We were also able to pay for three months of work for a trauma specialist and partially cover the salary of one of the therapists at the Charity Hospital. We sincerely thank everyone who took part in the gathering – you gave homeless people the opportunity to receive high-quality medical care for free. Thanks!

Let's help the Charity Hospital: pay for the work of a trauma doctor and medical supplies

In the past, Vladimir Ivanovich is a master of sports, a ski jumper. During his sporting career he never broke anything, although his comrades were often injured. But here - a fracture of both bones of the tibia, and even with displacement.

The man spent a few weeks in hospital: he was given a skeletal traction, put in a cast and released ‘home’, to a shelter for elderly homeless people. Vladimir Ivanovich has been living there for four years: after the death of his wife, his niece evicted him from his flat. Against the backdrop of all the events, a stroke occurred.

He has been coming to the Charity Clinic, where people in distress are helped free of charge, for six months: without his passport and citizenship, he is not accepted at the state polyclinic. The traumatologist removed the cast that Vladimir Ivanovich had been wearing for four months. She replaced it with a bandage made of turbocast, which she produced at the clinic - a modern, durable material that will make life much easier for the elderly man. Vladimir Ivanovich will be able to move around much more comfortably while the question of his further treatment is being decided.

Now we are collecting funds to pay for the labour of a trauma doctor at the Charity Clinic for the Homeless and Undocumented. It is also very necessary to buy material from which we make comfortable orthoses, bandages and splints for trauma patients.
