Friends, a little over six months ago we introduced you to the story of Yasina, who is fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a blood cancer. Yasina was then preparing for a bone marrow transplant, and we were raising funds together to support her in the fight against the disease. It was important for Yasina to undergo a special blood typing test in order to select a bone marrow donor. Her older brother, Ruzimuhammad, became the donor. Yasina underwent a transplant at the end of last year.

Now she continues to struggle with the disease and is undergoing treatment at the Almazov Centre in Saint Petersburg. To take another big step towards defeating the disease, Yasina needs therapy with the medicine Posaconazole, which will help her cope with complications after a bone marrow transplantation.
