Hamza is 6 years old. After a year, the boy had a developmental setback, he stopped looking into the eyes, responding to the name and contacting others. The parents turned to a neurologist, and the boy was diagnosed with delayed speech development, general speech underdevelopment of level 1, and autism spectrum disorder.
Hamza completed a comprehensive rehabilitation course, which included daily classes in AВA therapy, sensory integration, adaptive sports, classes with a speech therapist, as well as hardware procedures. By the end of the course, the boy became much calmer, more persevering, and the number of manifestations of undesirable behavior decreased.
In Hamze's classes, a new level of communication system was introduced using special PECs cards. Now it is easier for the child to communicate with others in a socially acceptable way. The classes were conducted in a playful way, which made it possible to maintain Hamza's interest and ensure maximum involvement in the learning process.
Active work was also underway to start the child's speech. Thanks to articulatory gymnastics, Hamza has made progress, he has learned to pronounce sounds: Ah, Oh, U! The boy's physical and sensory skills have improved, large and fine motor skills are developing.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to paying for Hamza's rehabilitation course!
