The profession of animal rehabilitator is a unique and rare combination of knowledge of medicine, anatomy and physiology, as well as a deep understanding of animal behavior. Unfortunately, not every shelter has the opportunity to provide its charges with such highly qualified help, and that is why rehabilitation specialists become valuable personnel whose work is incredibly important!
A rehabilitologist helps animals recover from injuries and orthopedic surgeries. He or she uses various physical therapy techniques, massage, physical therapy and other individualized approaches to help animals regain mobility, reduce pain and restore their physical condition. Each session, each course of rehabilitation therapy is a step toward a full life for the animal.
We ask you to support our fundraiser to pay for a rehabilitation therapist who will work with our charges to help them return to a normal life. Thanks to you, we will be able to give every animal who has experienced trauma or surgery a chance to recover and be fully rehabilitated.
