Mukhtar is the third child in the family, he is 3 years old. The birth was complicated, and the newborn suffered hypoxia, after which he was in intensive care. The initial development was normal. However, at the age of one and a half years, we, the parents, noticed that something was wrong with our son. He did not respond to his own name and did not understand the speech addressed. Over time, his behavior deteriorated. At the age of 2 years and 10 months, Mukhtar still did not respond to the name and did not understand the request. He had severe hyperactivity, behavior disorders, tantrums, and had no contact with other children. After examination by psychiatrists, neurologists and geneticists, the diagnosis was made: autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and delayed speech development (ASD). He has been attending sensory integration and AVA therapy classes for 10 months. Drug therapy was also performed. Thanks to the constant activities and support of parents, there is a positive trend. In order for Mukhtar to continue his development, he needs an intensive rehabilitation course. However, his family is facing serious financial difficulties.
