Dima is an orphan suffering from an incurable liver disease. In his home region, a transplant is not possible, so he will be undergoing treatment in Moscow. He definitely needs care and attention – that's why a nurse from the foundation will be with him around the clock for as long as it takes until a transplant opportunity arises. Prolonged hospital stays are stressful for any child, and if there isn't a constant caring adult nearby, the stress doubles. We can help orphaned children from all regions of Russia who require complex treatments and surgeries that can only be performed in Moscow, ensuring they don’t have to face the hospital environment alone. For these children, it is an important step towards health and a new quality of life. The nurses are a support and help on this journey.
