In the summer Said solemnly celebrated his seventh birthday, and in September he joined the honorable ranks of schoolchildren. The boy was sincerely excited about the new stage of life. Said got to know his teachers and classmates, and a great strong friendship was formed. But just a few weeks later, trouble knocked on Said's family and ruined the current plans.
In October 2020, the boy developed a shoulder condition. Symptomatic treatment didn't help, so he was examined in an inpatient setting. Finding no significant pathologies, Said was discharged from the medical facility in mid-November, issuing an opinion with general recommendations. Exactly one week later Said's condition sharply worsened, and with suspicion of acute leukemia the boy was hospitalized again.
Unfortunately, after a full clinical examination, it became clear that the doctors' suspicions were justified. In Makhachkala they could not help Said and choose an effective therapy. The boy was referred to the Petrov Center in St. Petersburg.
During the treatment Said developed an allergy to standard protocol drugs, so the doctors prescribed a course with another drug, Khamsil. The drug was not registered in Russia and was expensive. A total of three vials of Hamsyl, costing 130,500 roubles each, were needed for the therapy. The first injection is to be made as soon as possible.
