Polina was born with a complex disease. The parents were not ready to raise a special child. So the girl ended up in an orphanage.
When Polina's foster mother took her into the family, the girl could neither sit nor stand. But thanks to the care of her foster mother and regular rehabilitation, serious progress was achieved: Polina began to communicate with other children, speech began to appear, and large motor skills improved.
Due to her congenital pathologies, it is difficult for Polina to study. Thanks to working with specialists, the girl can now sit at her desk and complete tasks in a group.
Now Polina needs to take a new course of intensive classes in order to consolidate the skills she has acquired over the past academic year.
The costs of ongoing rehabilitation turn out to be significant for the mother, because she is raising her daughter alone.
