Shamil is 10 years old and has autism. At the age of 1.5, speech disappeared, the child became hyperexcited, inhibited, and lost eye contact. Since then, my mother has been actively engaged in Shamil's habilitation, there is a positive trend. Now Shamil is studying at school, but there is a delay in development and difficulties in mastering the general education program. People like Shamil are said to be highly functional. This means that with a properly organized habilitation process, there is every chance to correct the boy's signs of autism.
In the summer of 2020, Shamil completed an intensive habilitation course with the specialists of the Blue Bird Center, the main purpose of which was to correct undesirable behavior, intensive work with a neurologist, behavioral analyst and a specialist in adaptive physical culture. However, in order to maintain the results and move on, to teach Shamil new skills and improve his speech, a repeat course is required.
