Ibrahim is 7 years old. The boy was diagnosed with fourth degree sensorineural hearing loss, delayed speech development and autism spectrum disorder. Despite all the difficulties, there is a great love in his heart for others, especially for his sister, with whom he shares the brightest moments of his life.
In the ABA therapy classes, work was carried out on the study of various categories, for example, fruits, vegetables, transport, clothing, animals. Ibrahim learned to distinguish objects by association, namely, by signs, characteristics or categories. This skill helped the child to develop his conceptual thinking and expand his speech repertoire. With a speech therapist, the boy learned how to pronounce sounds, ask with the help of an index gesture.
Thanks to the sensory integration classes, Ibrahim's information processing of the vestibular system improved. The child has stopped avoiding outdoor games, and no longer feels fear when performing tasks using a balance beam and a rocking board. There is also a positive trend in Ibrahim's behavior - his mood has become less volatile, and it has become easier to negotiate with him.
After studying with an adaptive sports coach, the boy became much more disciplined and physically more resilient. He learned to run, jump, catch and throw a ball at a target on his own, without the support of an adult, as well as pass an obstacle course and even ride a scooter!
You're the best! Thanks to your help, Ibrahim underwent intensive rehabilitation!
