Khabib is 7 years old. At the age of 1.5, the baby suffered febrile seizures, after which the parents noticed that the boy stopped responding to the addressed speech, responding to the name and the words disappeared. Specialists diagnosed a severe disorder of psychological development with systemic speech underdevelopment, severe emotional and behavioral disorders.
As a result of the intensive rehabilitation course, Khabib has progressed in his development. After studying with an AVA specialist, the boy learned to respond to the voice, turn towards the sound source, and improved his understanding of spoken speech. An individual ABA development program has also been developed for the child, thanks to which Habib will be able to consolidate the acquired skills and master new ones, and continue his education at home after completing the course.
In classes on adaptive physical education and sensory integration, Habib worked on feeling his own body in space, learned to keep his balance, and coordination of movements also improved markedly. There are also improvements in the boy's physical skills – he has become much more resilient, restrained and disciplined.
Khabib also underwent hyperbaric oxygen therapy as part of this course, which certainly gave an impetus to improving the boy's cognitive, speech and mental functions.
