Ibrahim is 8 years old, the boy had a sleep disorder and a lag in physical development from an early age. After the examinations, diagnoses were made: delayed speech development with autistic manifestations, severe speech and behavior disorders.
During ABA therapy classes and with a speech therapist, Ibrahim mastered the skill of requests - he learned how to make various requests for missing subjects. For example, now a boy can safely ask for paper and pencil or markers when he wants to draw. Work also continued with the behavioral analyst on the introduction of new stages of the communication system using special PECs cards.
Work was also underway to improve the understanding of converted speech and expand Ibrahim's vocabulary. By the end of the course, the child even began to master phrasal speech! Now the boy can independently not only pronounce, but also complement and compose simple phrases based on the construction of "verb + noun".
As an adaptive physical education coach and sensory integration specialist, the main focus was on improving Ibrahim's physical fitness, increasing his endurance and developing a sense of his own body in space. The boy now keeps his balance much better, can practice on a treadmill and pass an obstacle course without the support of an adult!
