Many patients delay their treatment simply because they can't afford travel or a place to stay in another city. And when chemotherapy, radiation, or specialist consultations require multiple trips, the burden grows even heavier. Let us help cancer patients get housing during treatment

At the age of 64, Lyubov Ivanovna was diagnosed with lung cancer. The patient suffered from weakness, shortness of breath, hemoptysis, and a significant weight loss of 18 kilograms. Despite her weakened body, Lyubov Ivanovna underwent all stages of treatment: chemotherapy, radiation therapy and immunotherapy.

Now the cancer patient has to be treated with chemotherapeutic drugs - this is the only possible treatment option. Every two weeks she travels from her hometown to the capital to receive quality medical care.

The Oncologica Foundation paid for her accommodation during the treatment, which allowed her to control the course of the disease and prevent further spread of metastases.
