Amelia is only 2 years old, she is a long-awaited daughter of her mother, a cheerful and cheerful girl. Amelia is very artistic, immediately and everywhere makes friends, just met, and here they already play together in dolls, cars, cubes.
A year after the birth of the parents and the girl was waiting for a difficult test - at the usual routine examination, the doctor noticed a glow in the eye “like a cat”, and assumed the diagnosis - a tumor of the retina. Unfortunately, the regional hospital confirmed it, and the girl was sent to Moscow for treatment at the Blokhin Oncology Center, where she underwent a course of chemotherapy.
It seemed that the disease had receded, but alas, now they found a new tumor in her eye. Amelia was prescribed brachytherapy, a type of radiation therapy where a radiation source is injected into the eye. Unfortunately, there was no quota for this treatment, and for the girl's mother such an amount is unaffordable, because Amelia's mom just got out of maternity leave and provides for herself and her daughter.
