Despite all this, Sasha loves to walk and is drawn to children, but he can't walk yet - he can't play with them either, and he is very sad that he doesn't have a real friend.

SDR surgery - selective dorsal rhizotomy - can change everything. It is a spinal surgery in which the surgeon cuts the nerve endings that cause excess tension in the muscles. The pain will disappear and the body will be free. And Sasha will have a chance to put his feet on the floor, strengthen his muscles and start walking.
