Two-year-old Khadija was born with an underdeveloped lower jaw, missing gums and a tongue split in two. This is a very rare vice. The girl has already had several operations. Now we need another one to install special devices, distractors, so that Khadija does not suffocate.
The girl was born into a student family, and her grandmother took care of her. The Muscovite family is from Tajikistan. The family was able to cope with the first surgical procedures, when the girl's tongue was stitched and her split jaw was joined.
At the last stage, the installation of distractors that will push the child's jaw apart 1 mm per day, allowing new bone tissue to grow and increase the internal volume in the mouth, there are no more funds – neither help from his native village, nor from Moscow relatives, nor two scholarships.
And the situation is urgent – if the operation is not performed, the girl's tongue, which is too large by the standards of a tiny jaw, can block her airways at any moment. To prevent this from happening, let's help Khadija!
