Thanks to your support, Shakhnoza underwent the necessary PET/CT scan, which showed that her condition has stabilized. When calculating the cost of Shakhnoza's procedures, the doctors included tests that were no longer needed, so the remainder of the fundraising was used to partially cover Ruslan's examination.

Ruslan also underwent a PET/CT scan and is feeling well. He continues to be monitored and receives treatment.

Shakhnoza needs additional genetic testing after radiation therapy

Shakhnoza is 8 years old, she is an active and cheerful girl. He likes to run outside, draw and play on his tablet. In the family, the girl was given the nickname "fidget" for her character.

In October 2024, Shakhnoza had headaches, nausea, and seizures. The frightened parents immediately went to the hospital, where an MRI scan revealed a brain tumor. This diagnosis came as a shock to the whole family. It was decided to go to Moscow for treatment, where the girl underwent surgery and radiation therapy. Doctors recommended an MRI scan two months after radiation therapy. The control study showed stabilization of the disease.

Now it is necessary to conduct additional genetic research and PET-CT to assess the prevalence of the disease. Doctors give the girl a good chance of a full recovery.
