The intensive care enclosures are ready!

The new Pitomets shelter in Penza was built by hand. When the main rooms were ready, it became clear: for the shelter to become a real veterinary centre, and not just a temporary holding place, an intensive care unit was needed — a special space for the most critical patients. For animals with viruses, sepsis, and zero immunity, medication is only half the treatment. A sterile, clean, safe environment is equally important. Without it, even the most competent therapy can turn out to be powerless. But for the unit to start working, the enclosures needed to be additionally equipped: false floors and stainless steel doors had to be installed. The false floor protects animals' paws from injuries and makes daily cleaning and disinfection significantly easier. Stainless steel doors are strong, durable, without pores or micro-cracks where bacteria can accumulate. This material is used in veterinary clinics precisely because it withstands repeated chemical treatment and does not lose its properties. Without these structures, the space did not meet sanitary requirements, and it was impossible to admit the first patients. But thanks to your help, everything worked out!
