Amir is 7 years old. He was diagnosed with delayed speech development and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. When the boy was very young, at the age of two, he did not respond to his name, often ran in circles and lined up toys in a certain order.
First of all, special ABA testing was conducted for Amir, the boy's skill level was determined, and the stimuli and motivational items were identified, thanks to which the child wants to perform tasks and exercises. During the course, an individual development program was developed for Amir to further consolidate the boy's progress at home.
During the classes, the specialists worked hard to form Amir's pointing gesture and improve his understanding of spoken speech. Now the child can point with his finger at the desired object or card in response to a question, indicate with a gesture what he needs. This is an important step that has made it much easier for the boy to interact with others.
Amir had a brief but steady eye contact. Sensory perception and sense of balance have improved. Now the boy is calmly riding a swing and a scooter, following several instructions at the same time, for example, he can point to a part of his body while standing on a balance beam.
