Amir is 6 years old. He was diagnosed with psychomotor developmental delay and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. When he was very young, at the age of two, he did not respond to his name, often ran in circles, and arranged his toys in a specific order. He did not have a pointing gesture and did not understand spoken language. However, thanks to the love and care of his parents, as well as the support of professionals, Amir began to take his first steps towards interacting with the world around him.
Today, he can play cooperative games such as Lego or building blocks. He loves playing with water, going to playgrounds, and swimming in the pool or bathtub. Amir can write words and put magnetic letters together, and he also sings songs and recites rhymes that he hears in the garden. He can eat on his own, make crafts, and do puzzles.
Despite all the achievements, Amir still has a long way to go. He doesn't have a direct speech, he can't always sit still and doesn't clean up his toys. His parents want him to become a little calmer, improve his speech, and learn to understand spoken language. The funds raised will be enough to pay for a course of classes with specialized specialists and sessions of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
