Asem got sick when she was only two years old. Mom was the first to notice her daughter's pupil glow. This light was reflected from the surface of the tumor. The family flew to Moscow for treatment. There, at the N. N. Blokhin clinic, Asem bravely overcame a course of chemotherapy after a course. But, unfortunately, the disease turned out to be stronger, it was not possible to save the eye. The doctors performed an operation to remove the tumor and installed an Asem prosthesis. A long road of recovery lay ahead.

Now Asem enjoys going to school, learning English and dreaming of becoming a pediatric ophthalmologist in the future. Asem grows up, she needs to replace her eye prosthesis with a more age-appropriate one. It is also important to undergo an examination before performing surgery.
