Timur has a speech development delay. After the age of 2, he lost eye contact and speech, and developed an eating disorder.
A major achievement for both the boy and his teachers was that Timur began to show interest in activities, found it easier to interact with others, and adapted more quickly to new environments! The child's behavior also improved: he became more attentive, learned to wait his turn in social and board games.
Specialists paid great attention to developing Timur's speech skills. The boy practiced rhythm and timing, and did breathing exercises. It became much easier for him to pronounce sounds correctly—loudly and clearly—as well as to combine them into sound combinations and even simple one-syllable words!
There has also been positive progress in the child's physical development. Timur has become more resilient, and his movements are more coordinated. The boy learned to pedal, use a treadmill, and even complete a special obstacle course.
