Ram ended up in a municipal shelter as a very young dog. He grew up as a sociable, outgoing teenager, but in February, the guardians noticed that Ram had started to limp badly on his hind leg. Instead of running around like he used to with other dogs on the walk, Ram just lay down and lay down for the whole walk.
At the veterinary clinic, he was diagnosed with a bilateral medial dislocation of the kneecaps. Moreover, the dislocation was fixed immediately on 2 paws. One is old, the other is fresh, and the cup on the right paw is "walking": it returns to its place, then goes to the side. Ram was scheduled for surgery. In preparation, a CT scan was performed, which revealed a deformity of the femur. Due to the new circumstances, the operation plan has been changed.
Now Ram needs to undergo surgery on the femur using the open wedge method, followed by the installation of plates for its fixation.
