When Farishta was born with a spinal hernia, doctors didn't believe she would live even a couple of hours. But this bright, smart and incredibly strong girl proved that miracles do happen. Today, 11-year-old Farishta is a cheerful child who loves to draw, dreams of dancing and studies hard in a regular school with excellent grades.
But there is one thing that reminds her of her illness every day - an old, worn-out stroller. It weighs more than 30 kilograms, its back is worn through to holes, and the wheels are constantly jammed. Because of this, Farishta often misses school in the rain, cannot go for walks with friends, and her mother can barely cope with the heavy structure.
The new stroller will change Farishta's life. It will be light and maneuverable, with a comfortable folding back and reliable wheels that will not let you down in any weather. This is not just a means of transportation - it is freedom, independence and new opportunities for a bright girl who wants to live a full life.
"When I grow up, I will become a doctor and help other children like me," says Farishta. "But for now, I need a wheelchair to make it to all my classes and spend more time with my friends."
We are raising funds to give Farishta the long-awaited wheelchair. Every donation you make is a nail in its design, a meter of tread on the wheels, a piece of freedom for this amazing girl. Let's make her life easier and happier together!
