Sasha is 5 years old. He grows up in a large, friendly family where everyone tries to support, help and be there for him.
When he was a year old, he was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). He started a long and difficult journey: collecting for expensive treatment, constant training, complete restructuring of his life. This race for health was a new beginning for the whole family.
«Sasha is our gift. He opened another world to us. Thanks to him, real, kind people appeared near us, and the main thing in life became even clearer: who is near, what is important, for whose sake it is worth going further,» shares the boy's mother.
The development of the disease has been stopped, but every day Sasha needs to make a lot of effort to stay active, to move and not to lose his skills. Now he needs a new course of rehabilitation.
