Salim has an autism spectrum disorder and mental retardation. By the age of 2, the boy did not respond to the name, was not interested in toys and did not speak.
Thanks to the completed rehabilitation course, Salim became calmer, the number of manifestations of undesirable behavior decreased, in particular, self-aggression decreased.
During ABA therapy classes, the boy and a specialist learned how to sort verbs, for example, "washes his hands, sleeps," "sits, drinks." Salim also began to study geometric shapes, now he can choose the same shapes from a variety. Salim especially enjoyed playing geometric lotto, a game of matching geometric shapes in shape and color.
There is progress in the development of sensory skills. It became easier for Salim to identify objects by touch, and his movements became more coordinated and precise. The boy learned to go through the obstacle course on his own, and even roller skating with the support of a coach!
