Egor is the eldest son in a large family. Until the age of 13, he was an active, cheerful boy. But in 2019, he experienced his first epileptic seizure—and life has never been the same since.
Today, his daily reality includes severe seizures with loss of consciousness and breathing pauses. Despite ongoing treatment, the seizures continue. His condition has also led to cognitive decline: his memory is worsening, and he becomes disoriented—he might even leave the house without locking the door.
Still, Egor remains kind, curious, and full of life. He loves cooking complex dishes, enjoys learning about technology, and keeps his passion for life alive.
Egor urgently needs overnight EEG monitoring and a consultation with a specialist to adjust his treatment plan and possibly change medications.
The family has already sought help from public healthcare services but was denied disability support. Their situation is even more challenging because Egor’s younger brother has autism and also needs full-time care and rehabilitation.
