In a week, Madina will be 10 years old, she is a cheerful and inquisitive girl who is interested in everything in the world. Madina is fond of handicrafts, mosaics, drawing, and all the time comes up with interesting games that she plays with her brothers.
Three years ago, a serious illness came into the girl's life. Usually cheerful and active, Madina began to get tired often, complain of pain in her legs, bruises all over her body. Her parents were scared and immediately went to the regional hospital, where after examinations Madina was given a terrible diagnosis - leukemia. At her place of residence in Tajikistan, the doctors threw up their hands, and the family decided to go to Russia. Our Foundation helped her then with the cost of treatment at the Oncology Center in Balashikha. And after many months of treatment and several courses of chemotherapy, she managed to achieve remission for almost six months.
Unfortunately, the disease returned, and Madina ended up in the hospital again. Leukemia does not go away, and now doctors are planning chemotherapy with a subsequent bone marrow transplant. Madina's parents are ordinary people. Mom is a housewife, and dad is a loader. Dad is the only provider for a large family. In three years of treatment, the family has spent all their savings, they really need our help to pay for the therapy!
