Zoya Alekseevna fell ill five years ago. Chronic lymphoblastic leukemia came unexpectedly: at first, her stomach began to ache, then the therapist, having received the results of blood tests, sent Zoya Alekseevna to a hematologist. It turned out that it was not in vain — after the examination, the fears were confirmed: blood cancer.
In the past, Zoya Alekseevna worked as a senior economist in her native Petrozavodsk. She is now retired and has been fighting the disease for five years. But there wasn't a day when she succumbed to despair. Over the past five years, Zoya Alekseevna has undergone several courses of chemotherapy, constant examinations, bone marrow biopsy, and regular medication. But she wasn't used to complaining. She strives to help others and make someone's life better: she donates to charity, embroider paintings and give them to family and friends. Leukemia takes a lot of strength, but Zoya Alekseevna does not allow herself to give up, even when weakness temporarily gets the better of her.
But now Zoya Alekseevna is unable to cope on her own. She is undergoing long-term therapy with an expensive drug, which is usually available in regional hospitals. But there were interruptions in the supply, and an expensive drug must be purchased right now for 2 months in order not to interrupt the course of therapy. The pensioner and her family do not have the opportunity to pay for it on their own.
We will help Zoya Alekseevna get the necessary medication and continue treatment!
