Ksyusha is only 19 and she comes from the small town of Bavly in the Republic of Tatarstan. But the wonderful time of Ksyusha's youth has been overshadowed by a serious illness for 5 years. Although she was always an active child, she played volleyball, went to the seaside with her mother, and in the future she wanted to become a doctor. But their small family faced difficult challenges with their mother. In 2018, Ksyusha's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She got a disability, but she overcame the disease - and became a real example for Ksusha of how not to lose heart even in the most difficult situations. And in 2020, she had to experience it for herself.: Ksyusha was diagnosed with a malignant blood disease, Hodgkin's lymphoma.
At that time, 14-year-old Ksyusha was admitted to the hospital, underwent chemotherapy at the height of covid, and dreamed of living like ordinary people - walking on the street, chatting with friends. After discharge, it seemed that the disease had receded, but after only 3 months, an early relapse occurred. A long period of treatment began between Kazan and Moscow. From 8th to 11th grade, Ksyusha was homeschooled. Now Ksyusha continues her treatment and is studying at a medical college to become a paramedic in order to help people as well as her doctors.
Every month, Ksyusha needs to buy immunoglobulin to support her immune system in treatment. The drug is very expensive, and only their mother works in their family and they cannot cope with such expenses. We will help Ksyusha get the necessary medication to continue treatment!
