Verochka will turn 11 in August. She is incredibly inquisitive and smart beyond her years. She has many hobbies: beadwork, drawing on a tablet, learning to play the ukulele. She also loves to walk, despite her movement difficulties.
Vera has a curvature of the spine, her legs do not bend, and her feet are deformed. Thanks to an orthopedist, she was able to choose a comfortable corset and tutors - this helps to restrain the development of curvatures and improve her well-being. But this requires regular monitoring by a doctor who can adjust the treatment in time, give recommendations, select the right shoes and exercises.
Along with Vera, 15 more children are eagerly awaiting an appointment with an orthopedist. All of them have special diagnoses, limitations, and their own hopes. A specialist consultation is not just a visit, but a step towards a more comfortable life.
