Ramazan recently turned 10 years old. He has a delay in psycho-speech development, autism spectrum disorder, and structural epilepsy.
Ramazan's rehabilitation courses included daily sessions of ABA therapy, adaptive physical education, and sensory integration. Thanks to the coordinated work of the specialists, the boy made progress in his development and improved his skills!
Active work was carried out to reinforce and develop both behavioral and social skills. Now it is much easier for Ramazan to communicate his needs and desires to adults by showing a special card using the alternative communication system PECs. The boy also learned to play social and board games, such as 'lotto' or 'snakes and ladders.'
Ramazan has also made progress in mastering gross and fine motor skills, as well as in developing sensory perception. He has become better at processing visual and auditory information, and it has become much easier for him to navigate in space.
With his adaptive physical education coach, Ramazan learned new exercises, including those using sports equipment. The child learned to work with dumbbells, a hoop, to catch a ball and throw it at a target. Overall, the boy's psychophysiological state has significantly improved; he has become calmer, more confident, and more disciplined!
