Maryam is 11 years old, and she was diagnosed with spastic tetraparesis associated with cerebral palsy (cerebral palsy). This diagnosis was made immediately after her birth, as she was born in the seventh month of pregnancy.
Since childhood, Maryam has often been ill. She was diagnosed with pneumonia every month, and sometimes she ended up in the hospital twice a month. It went on like this for a whole year. After she turned one year old, the family went to Moscow for an examination. Since then, they have completed dozens of rehabilitation courses, which have yielded good results. Previously, Maryam could not speak and move normally, could not turn from one position to another, but now she already moves on all fours and can hold on to one hand. This is a great achievement for both Mom and Maryam herself.
To avoid developmental setbacks, the girl needs regular rehabilitation courses, which, unfortunately, her family cannot afford.
