Akhmad has atypical autism with a developmental disorder. He barely speaks, has poor understanding of spoken language, has echolalia, and is developmentally delayed. Akhmad's mother, Sabina, is raising two children alone. She used to work as a hairdresser, but now she rarely goes out — she takes care of her youngest son and her sick mother. Previously, her grandmother helped with the children, but now Sabina does everything herself. All of her income goes to food and the needs of her youngest child.
