Nadia has a congenital malformation - spina bifida. The vertebrae did not close in the womb, and the spinal cord came out and formed a hernia. Nadya was operated on the first day, the hernia was sutured. But the severe consequences of the diagnosis could not be avoided. The girl has no support in her legs, she cannot stand.
Nadya needs a standing machine for normal development. Standing position allows the load on the spine and hips to be distributed. The heart, blood vessels, and digestive system - all the internal organs - begin to work properly. And hands are also freed, the child can play and look at the world from his or her own height.
The "Spina Bifida" Foundation is collecting funds to buy a verticalizer for Nadya. It is impossible to get it from the state under IPRA, as it is not included in the federal list of technical means of rehabilitation.
