At the hospital, neonatologists showed the mother her newborn daughter: the girl is completely healthy, but there is a disadvantage – the absence of a right palm. You can live with this, the young parents decided and began to raise Medina like the most ordinary child.
So that the right hand would not get out of the habit of working and the muscles would be in good shape, they began to put on special weighting bracelets for the daughter. Then we saved up for a traction prosthesis. An active life began with him. Medina learned how to control a scooter and a bicycle, catch a ball, and take a plate with both hands. But in two years, Medina has grown and the prosthesis has become small, chafing her hand and causing discomfort.
The family was offered a cosmetic one for free, which only hides the flaw. And Medina needs traction in order to be active and agile, self-confident, ride a bike with her peers and be at the center of all outdoor games.
