Tanya B. from the Vinokurova N.N. orphanage is studying mathematics with a tutor. At the beginning of the project, she had failing grades in core subjects. “Tanya finds it very difficult to engage in work and often daydreams, but if you capture her interest, she shows excellent abilities and easily copes with tasks,” says her math tutor. “I use game-based methods when working with Tanya,” adds the math tutor. Thanks to the individual approach of our teachers, Tanya attends lessons willingly, has gained confidence, and has become more active at school, as noted by her caregivers. Tanya plans to continue tutoring in her subjects in the future.
The "Our Children" foundation helps kids like Tanya close gaps in their studies and prepare for exams by paying for tutoring. This gives children not only knowledge, but also faith in their own strengths, and therefore a chance for a successful future.
The lessons paid for by the foundation are often the only opportunity for our wards to improve their knowledge, enter colleges and universities, and become successful adults.
