39-year-old Ekaterina Tomilina from Lipetsk reached out to our foundation at 36 weeks of pregnancy. Her son was diagnosed with CPAM (Congenital Pulmonary Airway Malformation), a cystic lung development disorder. Doctors referred Ekaterina to give birth and perform surgery for her baby in Moscow. She needed to undergo expensive paid medical examinations and secure housing near the perinatal center before the birth. Ekaterina’s husband works as a factory driver, and her parents are retired; the family couldn’t afford the costs.
Thanks to the work of our fundraiser, we managed to collect funds for medical tests, housing, and psychological support during this difficult time. Today, Ekaterina holds her healthy son in her arms — made possible by your help and the fundraiser’s efforts.
To continue supporting mothers and children in need, we need to pay our fundraiser’s salary. Any donation is an investment in saving a life.
