At one year old, doctors diagnosed him with cerebral palsy. From that moment on, the family began an endless race for every movement, every new skill. Rehabilitations, surgeries, massages, swimming pool, exercise machines. And all this so that Vadim could take a step towards a life in which he could be independent.
Today, Vadim can already stand with support, walk with support, eat, type, and read by syllables on his own. He loves football, and also plays boccia and dreams of a kitten.
But in order to preserve what he has achieved and move on, he vitally needs new rehabilitation.
Without it, his muscles will become stiff, his movements will be constrained, and he may need a new operation. But with it, he will be able to hold his back more confidently, improve his speech, play with children, and get closer to his dream of walking independently.
